On 10 November there will be a parade, Service of Remembrance and Act of Remembrance in Mold in homage to the fallen of the two World Wars and the conflicts that this country has been involved in since 1945.
The parade, with representatives of uniformed organisations, Mold Town Councillors, and Mold Town Band will start at 9.30am from the corner or Glanrafon Steet and walk up Wrexham Street and the High Street to St Mary’s Church.
The Service of Remembrance in church at 10am will be conducted by Father Rex Matthias, Vicar of Mold, followed by the Act of Remembrance at the Cenotaph. The Last Post will be sounded and two minutes silence will be observed at 11am followed by the laying of wreaths at the Cenotaph and of poppies in the Garden of Remembrance.
At the end of the ceremony the parade will march down the High Street and the Mayor of Mold, Robin Guest will take the salute from a dais in the lower High Street.
On Monday 11 November there will be an Act of Remembrance by the steps of Mold Town Hall, when two minutes silence will be observed at 11am.
