Mold Town Council – community youth representative / youth council

If you are aged between 11 and 25 years old and live within 3 miles of Mold you could be co-opted onto the Youth Council.

We have vacancies available for membership of the Youth Council with the appointed Chair and Vice Chair of the Youth Council acting as a Community Youth Representatives on Mold Town Council.

The Youth Council will be a body of young people who shall be representative of all young people in Mold and will meet quarterly.

The Youth Representatives will be required to attend Town Council meetings which are generally held on the last Wednesday of each month at 6.30pm, at Mold Town Hall, Earl Road, Mold.

The Community Youth Representatives would not have a vote on Council matters but would have a voice about the issues affecting young people and would have a positive role in integrating the views of young people into the local community.

Written applications are invited outlining why you wish to act as Community Youth Representative, and why you think you would be good at the role.
