Local History Finds Day

Bring your own archaeological and local history finds for expert assessment

Mold Library & Museum and Daniel Owen Centre on Thursday 19 September 2013, 2pm to 6pm. Free admission

In Mold Library there will be a number of short illustrated presentations by the National Museum of Wales, Flintshire Record Office, the @answers Centre, the WWI  Memorial project, and Mold and District Civic Society. Standalone DVD and audio presentations on various aspects of local life will also be available.  Mold Civic Society will be on hand for any photographs and documents for inclusion into the Community Archive and Viv and Eifion Williams for Cenotaph related enquiries.

In the Daniel Owen Centre two experts from the National Museum will be on hand to look at finds of pottery and metal detected items : along with staff of Flintshire Record Office  for any photographs and documents.
