Mold celebrates the Queen’s 90th birthday

A birthday must have a birthday card so Smurfit Kappa are making an enormous card for the Queen, which has four pictures on the front produced by children from each of the primary schools in Mold. It will be at the Mold celebrates event for people to sign, as well as in the Town Council office at Mold Town Hall during the week before. Will it be the largest card the Queen receives?

To celebrate the Queen’s 90th Birthday, Mold will be holding a musical tribute spanning the decades of the Monarch’s long life. ‘Music through the Decades’, with live music and dance in Daniel Owen Square, promises to be a wonderful family-friendly free event. Performing during the afternoon will be the internationally renowned Flint Male Voice Choir, Cor Meibion Y Fflint; popular singer Julie Scott; The Moments; RockSalt; Gary Barker; Aspiration Dance and Urban Fusion.
