Bailey Hill Festival 2014

All go at Bailey Hill

The future of Bailey Hill is looking promising with many people working together to make the proposed improvement plans into a reality. And having more activities on the Hill should encourage people to use the historic site more often.

Roger Wilson, President of The Rotary Club of Mold, donates £200 from their Xmas Appeal to Sarah Pratt of Cittaslow Mold for the Bailey Hill Festival 2014.

Bailey Hill Festival

Last year the wettest, windiest day in June fell on the Bailey Hill Festival and, with great reluctance, we had to cancel the event. Which didn’t leave the finances for a 2014 Festival looking great. But with the fantastic £1000 raised at our Ceilidh last month we can now go ahead and hire the marquees. We are also very grateful for the donations made by local sponsors and supporters like The Rotary Club of Mold.

The Bailey Hill Festival 2014 will be held on Sunday 22 June, 1 to 6pm and some excellent local bands, including Sparrowhawk and Heal The Last Stand are booked for an entertaining afternoon of live music, dance, food, soft drinks and fun activities for all the family.

Buckley and Mold Lions are selling delicious cakes, tea and coffee in the comfort of King’s Christian Centre Hall, whilst Trinity Famau Scouts will be showing their culinary skills and selling food outdoors up on the Outer Bailey.
