Bangor University Year 2 BA and BSc Geography students visited Mold last month as part of their sustainable development module field work. They are considering how being a Cittaslow town impacts on our economic and environmental sustainability in relation to culture and tourism; glocal (reflecting or characterized by local and global considerations); town planning; and well-being.

The first year the students came to Mold there were 12 students, which has increased to 26 students this year, led by Arwel Jones and Dr Eifiona Thomas Lane, lecturer in environmental planning and geography at Bangor University. In the morning a number of local organisations talked to the students, later they carried out surveys and interviews in Town
