We are a family business established 35 years ago. We offer a full range of beef, lamb, pork and poultry, much of it sourced locally and in all traditional and contemporary cuts. We also stock an excellent choice of BBQ products regarded by many as one of the finest in the area.

The Hawarden Estate Farm Shop includes a butchery section, delicatessen and coffee shop and we currently stock approximately 250 products from 60 Welsh producers making us one of the largest stockists of Welsh food in the region.

One of our core values is to effectively source and provide opportunities to new and established Welsh producers and welcome contact from any seeking a new market for their produce.

We produce our own beef, lamb and pork and source additional supplies locally, make our own burgers, sausages and black pudding, sell free range eggs from our own hens and rear ducks and geese for Christmas.

We also grow our own potatoes, seasonal vegetables and herbs plus strawberries that are available from the shop or from our pick your own site. You will also find a large selection of other Welsh food in our shop as well.

On our farm we produce national award-winning organic Aberdeen Angus beef, lamb, pork, chicken, game and at Christmas, organic turkeys.

As well as these and a wide range of other local produce being available at the farm shop, the meat is sold throughout the UK in delicatessens and farm shops and is also exported to the Far East and parts of Europe.
